The Special Heroes Run is a celebration of courage, determination, inclusion, and the inspiring spirit of every participant. Organized by Sportiz and proudly title-sponsored by Jai Balaji Group, this category provides a safe, welcoming, and joyful race experience for persons with disabilities and special abilities.

Designed to encourage participation over competition, the Special Heroes Run focuses on celebrating every finisher. Family members, caregivers, and supporters are welcome to cheer participants throughout the course, making this one of the most heartwarming events of the JBG Kolkata Marathon.

Age Eligibility

• Participants must be 13 years or above on Race Day.
• Participants should be medically fit to take part in the event.
• Participants requiring assistance may be accompanied by a caregiver or guide, subject to the event guidelines.

• This is a non-timed participation category.
• All registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable.
• Participants must carry a valid Government-issued Photo ID during BIB collection.
• Caregivers or guides accompanying participants must follow the organizer's instructions.
• The organizer reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel the event due to unforeseen circumstances.
• By registering, participants consent to the use of their photographs and videos for promotional purposes.
• Identity proof submitted for verification will be securely deleted from the organizer's database within 90 days after registration unless required by applicable law.
