As we celebrate the 11th Edition of the JBG Kolkata Marathon, we're bringing back one of the most exciting attractions of race day – the Cosplay Run.

This unique category combines running with creativity, giving participants the opportunity to dress as their favourite superheroes, movie characters, anime characters, historical icons, cultural legends, cartoon characters, or original creations while taking part in the race.

Whether you're inspired by Spiderman, Feluda, Chhota Bheem, a patriotic icon, or an entirely original character, this is your chance to showcase your creativity, bring your character to life and compete for exciting cash prizes.

Prize Money

Solo Category

• 1st Prize – ₹30,000
• 2nd Prize – ₹20,000
• 3rd Prize – ₹10,000

Best Group

• ₹40,000
• Minimum 5 participants required.

How to Participate

1. Register under the 5 KM Cosplay Run category.
2. Arrive on Race Day dressed in your chosen costume.
3. Report to the Cosplay Stage / Verification Area at the scheduled reporting time.
4. Showcase your costume before the judges.
5. Participate in the non-timed 5 KM Cosplay Run in your costume.
6. Participants may run or walk at their own pace. Completing the full 5 KM is not mandatory for eligibility for judging or prizes.

Age Eligibility

• Participants must be 13 years or above on Race Day.
• Participants should be medically fit to participate in the event.

• Official participation in the Cosplay Run.

• Finisher Medal – only if the Cosplay Runner completes the run.

Important Information

• Registration under the Cosplay category is compulsory to participate in the contest.
• The Cosplay Run is a non-timed 5 KM category.
• Completing the full 5 KM is not mandatory to remain eligible for Cosplay judging and prizes.
• A Finisher Medal will be awarded only to participants who complete the run.
• All registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable.
• Participants must carry a valid Government-issued Photo ID during BIB collection.
• Costumes must be family-friendly and must not obstruct other participants or pose any safety risk.
• Props or accessories that may create a safety hazard may not be permitted.
• The organisers reserve the right to reject or disqualify inappropriate or unsafe costumes.
• The judges' decision regarding the winners will be final and binding.
• By registering, participants consent to the use of their photographs and videos for promotional purposes.
• Identity proof submitted for verification will be securely deleted within 90 days after registration unless required by law.
