• The Special Heroes Run is a non-timed, participatory event. This category will not get timing certificates.
• Individuals with the following disabilities are eligible to participate in ‘Special Heroes’ Run: physical/locomotor disability, intellectual impairment, visual impairment, hearing impairment, and orthopedic or neurological condition.
• On race day, we recommend that Special Heroes Run athletes be accompanied by their companion. The companion must be at least 13 years old.

Ashis Kumar Jana is the key coordinator for the Special Heroes 3 KMs category at the JBG Kolkata Marathon 2025. He oversees all coordination activities, ensuring smooth management of registrations, logistics, and on-ground arrangements for the participants.

The Special Heroes 3 KMs run celebrates the courage and determination of specially-abled individuals, and under Ashis’s dedicated guidance, every aspect of the event is handled with care and precision. His focus on accessibility, safety, and participant comfort reflects his deep commitment to inclusion and teamwork.
